Fueled by an interest in women’s health issues and a joy for working with women, Dr. Carrie Morris is a caring obstetrician and gynecologist who is gifted at relating to your needs and concerns. Dr. Morris had her first child in June of ’09, so she knows firsthand both the joys and discomforts of pregnancy and childbirth.
A Houston native, Dr. Morris graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She went on to receive her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.
Following medical school, she completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern program at Dallas’ Parkland Hospital. She now practices at Obstetrics and Gynecology of North Texas in Grapevine, which is affiliated with Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine.
When Dr. Morris isn’t at the office or hospital, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her son, Dylan, and reading to him. Her hobbies also include cooking, snow skiing, snorkeling, traveling, and scrapbooking.
